The SP5700 Optimus PDA is a durable Microsoft® Windows®-based platform ideal for applications throughout the supply chain in retail, postal home delivery and industrial applications. 

With a durability rating of IP54 and a 1.5m drop specification, the OptimusPDA brings versatility to the harshest of indoor and outdoor workplace environments, being designed specifically for applications where temperature varies according to the season and working conditions can be relatively poor.

The unit is offered with either laser or CMOS Imaging scan engines for 1D or 2D bar code data collection and can be configured with multiple memory options ensuring that the unit can cope with the most demanding of applications.

A range of Wireless options including WLAN (IEEE802.11b/g) and (WWAN GSM/GPRS) are available. Its future proof design combines Microsoft Windows CE V5.0 platform with the Intel® XScale CPU. The powerful and stable computing power of the OptimusPDA supports the application environment adaptable for the customer's needs.
